First Blog Post September 11, 2020 Dylan Campbell Fall Semester 2020: What’s Next? This year has been eventful to say the less. It started off fun with the beginning of my senior year of baseball. Before our first game I took a look at my team and said, “Wow, we have a pretty good shot this year.” We started off slow, losing our first couple of games, but then we began to pick it up. Once we had games on our home field, the Mount Mercy Mustangs really hit their stride. March 13, the day we heard that our season may come to an end. I can remember being so anxious that I felt sick to my stomach. I knew it wouldn’t be the end of the world but just the feeling of our season-ending like that with so little to show was absolutely heartbreaking. I was set to pitch the first game of the Friday doubleheader against the team from Canton, Missouri. Culver Stockton College.
